Here’s a methodology that we’ve used in the past that’s very effective:
1) Create a looping, motion graphic or sequence (logo with music, some special effects). Keep it generic.
2) Create a layer on wirecast and add this video. Use the tools in wirecast to set it to loop.
3) Use this to test audio & video feed to camslicer.
4) Go live on this looping motion graphic.
5) Instead of having Zoom on another laptop, go to your live channel feed on Vuuzle.TV
6) The looping graphic should appear live on Vuuzle.TV between 60-120 after you go live on camslicer.
7) Once you see the motion graphic on Vuuzle.TV and confirm audio – you’re ready to go.
8) You will want to check audio & video sync with talent as soon as possible on the live site.
Our success rate “going live” is very high – but local internet speeds and video delivery issues can have an effect on the system. IF YOU DO NOT SEE VIDEO & HEAR AUDIO AFTER 120 SECONDS on the Vuuzle.TV site – stop the camslicer normally. Wait a minute or two and begin the process again.
