Determine Your Bandwidth Speed – Wired Internet

In order to stream live to the Vuuzle system there are two basic requirements that have to be fulfilled:

1) You must be using a WIRED internet connection to your Mac.
2) You must have at least 10megs of continual upload speed.

Here’s a video that explains the pros & cons of Wifi vs. Wired internet:

Once you’ve got your Mac laptop “hardwired” to the internet, you’ll need to test to see if your connection has enough bandwidth to stream live to Vuzzle TV. We require a consistent 10meg upload speed to be able to establish a reliable data connection. (NOTE: This is more than most standard household internet connections. You may have to contact your internet provider to upgrade your service level.)

To test you internet speed – in Google Chrome type “speed test” in the browser finder window. A button will appear that allows you to run “speed test” – this will measure your download bandwidth and your upload bandwidth (they are different). Check the results of this free test and make sure your UPLOAD speed tops 10megs.
